Accessibility statement

Updated October 28, 2026

Our target

IntroCart is working toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA across signup, profile setup and preview, the directory, ZIP selection, checkout and confirmation. We improve the underlying pages and controls, not an accessibility overlay.

Current improvements

  • Labelled controls, linked instructions and validation, visible keyboard focus, and larger button targets.
  • Keyboard-accessible ZIP entry and lists without needing to use the map.
  • Announcements for draft saving, publication, ZIP prices and availability, and checkout status.
  • Reduced-motion preferences, zoom-friendly controls and scrollable dialogs.
  • Hold warnings and a restart path that retains selected ZIPs; availability is checked again before payment.

Assessment and limitations

We use automated accessibility checks and keyboard and accessibility-tree review. These methods do not establish complete WCAG conformance or guarantee ADA compliance. Dedicated testing with NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and people who use assistive technology is still needed; an accessibility-tree review is not a screen-reader test.

Maps are supplemental. Google sign-in and Stripe-hosted payment pages are third-party experiences. Stripe payment and renewal screens have not yet been tested end to end with assistive technology. Featured customer charges remain disabled while payment setup and launch approvals are pending.
